Desert Camp Chraika
This desert home is located within our camp that consists of a collection of similar natural clay huts. It includes including seven guest huts, a main hall, a lounge, restrooms, and our home, all arranged around a central campfire.
We welcome individual travelers as well as groups of up to 26 people, and our camp has been the base for delightful yoga retreats.
The main hall, sheltered from the elements, is available for dining, yoga, or other activities. A smaller lounge area provides a cool retreat during the day, while a simple rooftop offers panoramic views of the dunes and the edge of M'hamid. Guests can also enjoy the communal campfire area for tea and music beneath the stars.
Our "neighborhood" is the breathtaking and untamed Sahara desert. Here, you can take long walks, gaze at the endless horizon, marvel at stunning sunsets, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert. At night, enjoy stargazing and the warmth of the campfire under a vast, star-filled sky.

Other Important Information
- Solar energy powers a central charging station and provides lighting for each hut. Charging devices is possible in the lounge.
- Central Wi-Fi is available, and there is reliable cellular network coverage.
- Hot water is heated on request. In warmer seasons we use only solar power, while in the winter - a wood fire.
- A well on the property supplies water for taps and showers. While the water is slightly salty and suitable for washing, we recommend bottled water for drinking and brushing your teeth.
- Friendly desert cats roam the camp, adding to its charm and warmth.
