Desert Camp Chraika
Welcome to Desert Camp Chraika, a serene retreat nestled in the heart of the Sahara. Our camp features a collection of natural clay huts, including seven guest accommodations, a main hall, a lounge, restrooms, and our home, all thoughtfully arranged around a central campfire.
We warmly welcome both individual travelers and groups of up to 26 people. The camp has also served as a base for inspiring yoga retreats.
The main hall, protected from the elements, is perfect for dining, yoga, or other activities. A smaller lounge area offers a cool and comfortable space during the day, while a rooftop terrace provides stunning panoramic views of the dunes and the edge of M'hamid. In the evening, gather around the communal campfire for tea, music, and stargazing under the vast desert sky.
Our "neighborhood" is the breathtaking and untamed Sahara Desert. Here, you can enjoy long walks, marvel at spectacular sunsets, and immerse yourself in the peaceful silence of the desert. Evenings are magical with stargazing and the warmth of a campfire.
The camp also serves as a starting point for desert tours, allowing you to explore even deeper into the heart of the Sahara. Detailed descriptions can be found in the "Desert Tours" section.
We invite you to experience the tranquility, beauty, and hospitality of Desert Camp Chraika – your gateway to the Sahara.
